When we say "derive the future", we are not talking about magic, or any sort of black art of guessing outcomes. We are talking about math. OK, we understand that there's a thin line between math and magic in many people's minds, but in this case, it is an important line.

Order 2 Effects refers to an engineering term, Second Order Effects, which describes effects of a situation which are not necessarily direct. As an example: the cost of aluminum goes up, which increases the price of the frames for solar panel manufacturers, which, initially may causes a decrease in the profit of solar system installers. This would be a second or third order effect of the rise in aluminum prices.

Analyzing these relationships has been the domain of academics and large analysis firms. o2fx brings these capabilities to the public with its intuitive interface and easy to understand results.

o2fx uses statistics methods including Autocorrelation, Stochastic Process, Fourier Transforms, and other well understood formulas to analyze your data and find correlations. You can use o2fx for all kinds of analysis, the most straightforward may be stock market analyes. Watch our how to videos on stock trading, populations, and more.

What's next?

We continue to develop o2fx every day. The next big thing will be the introduction of the Advanced area of the site. One of the Advanced features will allow you to analyze three or more data sets together.
